Winter Traditions

Many of you are already familiar with our Tree of Memory™ services, which we have been hosting every holiday season since 1998. However, Palm's holiday program encompasses more than just those events. "Winter Traditions™" is the name we've given to our entire series of holiday events. You can click below to read details on all the events that are included in this year's Winter Traditions™ program or call 464-8300 to receive a hard copy of our informational packet. We hope that you and your families will decide to be a part of our Winter Traditions™.

Tree of Memory™

Palm Mortuary is planning the annual Tree of Memory™ designed to honor our deceased loved ones. We will be decorating our special Tree of Memory™ with ornaments bearing names of the loved ones who will not be with us during the holiday season. We know how very difficult the holidays can be for people who have lost loved ones. We believe that by joining in this special event, families will gain comfort in knowing that their loved ones will not be forgotten. We offer this service to anyone in the community or surrounding communities, whether or not they have used Palm Mortuary¹s services in the past. The Tree of Memory™ decorating program is offered for a minimal contribution. All contributions are split equally among three charities: Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Nevada and Shade Tree Shelter. We encourage those individuals wishing to participate to complete an order form at one of our six locations any day of the week between 9:00a.m. and 4:00p.m.. Prior to the holidays we will engrave the name of your loved one on the ornament of your choice. Anyone may pick up their ornaments at one of our locations. You may hang ornaments on one of the Trees of Memory™.

This year, we are pleased to offer Tree of Memory™ services at three locations through-out the Valley. Each location will feature spiritually uplifting musical highlights. The services will be held inside the chapels, with the tree-lighting ceremonies to follow outside. Ornaments placed on the tree will not be able to be returned to you. In an effort to provide you with ornaments for your home, you may order duplicates or purchase a keepsake ornament.

Christmas Box Angel Ceremony

As part of the Tree of Memory™ Service at the Northwest location, Palm Mortuary presents an annual memorial at the Angel for Lost Children Statue. The Angel Statue was originally envisioned and brought to life by author Richard Paul Evans in his best-selling book, "The Christmas Box," which has sold millions of copies worldwide. We invite anyone who has lost a child to set aside this special night to attend our community event and join your fellow parents in remembering all of our beloved children.
