On Monday, May 31, 2010 there will be two Palm Mortuary sponsored Memorial Day Services as follows:
There will be a service in the Downtown Large Chapel beginning at 9:00 am. Light refreshments will be served from 8:00 am to 9:00 am for an opportunity to mingle with fellow veterans and guests. The program is under the direction of American Legion Post #8. The program includes the placing of wreaths, honor guard gun salute, musical presentations, and taps. Nevada and United States elected representatives have been invited to deliver Memorial Day Messages. The general public is invited to attend.
The Henderson service will be held at 11:00 am in the Henderson Chapel. The program is under the direction of American Legion B.M.I. Post #40. This program will feature Musical Numbers, and Memorial Day Speakers. Community organizations will place wreaths at the flagpole in the cemetery followed by taps. The general public is invited to attend.
